The Next Literary Great and Parisian Flâneur

Samuél is a novelist and musician who has called Paris his home since 2010. His former band, Slim and The Beast (2015-2022), toured throughout Europe and took its name from Samuél’s debut novel, Slim and The Beast (Inkshares, 2015), a coming-of-age about the pursuit of passion and brotherhood set in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Samuél holds an MFA

in creative writing (VCFA) and an MA in Holocaust Studies (UCL) and teaches creative writing at the Sorbonne. His second novel, The Requisitions (Kingdom Anywhere, 2024) is a historical metafiction set during the Nazi Occupation of Poland.
