Madeline Bobo

Madeline Bobo is an American perfume expert with a trained nose and a soft spot for the stories behind the bottle. She moved to Paris in 2020 to pursue her MBA in Art and Luxury Brand Management, originally settling in Le Marais during the post-COVID lockdowns. There, she trained her nose in the neighborhood's boutique perfumeries and built relationships with the shop owners who still anchor her tours today as she expands into new neighborhoods across the city. Her MBA thesis in niche perfume studies documented the gap between this artisanal world and the American market, and ultimately led to the development of the perfume tours she now runs through The Bobo Attitude. She has since worked alongside Parisian niche perfume houses and attended international gatherings including Esxence in Milan and Paris Perfume Week. Madeline is excited to share her love, knowledge, and unmistakable Bobo attitude with you, guiding you through scent discovery and helping you walk into any perfumery knowing exactly what you love and why.
